Bond Elut C18 OH is an unsealed octadecyl bonding phase, which makes the silanol groups on the surface of silica gel more active. The silanol based activity of this low-carbon C18 stationary phase is strictly controlled, allowing for the separation of metabolites. Compared with capped C18, it has improved the retention ability for alkaline compounds.
